Atlantic Bridge is strengthening our life sciences team and we are seeking to hire a highly motivated and commercially focused life sciences professional as Investment Associate. The candidate will have:

A strong network in life sciences, spanning industry and Universities.

The ability to identify the commercial opportunity of an early stage life sciences venture typically emerging from Universities, articulating attractive business plans and the path to access global markets.

The ability to evaluate life sciences technologies including connected & digital health, medical devices, diagnostics and therapeutics.

Responsibilities

Identify commercial opportunities at conferences, technology fairs, and networking events

Build a valuable network of life sciences entrepreneurs, investors and intermediaries

Portfolio management of life sciences deal flow

Work alongside the Atlantic Bridge Investment Team on due diligence to evaluate investment opportunities, products, markets, competitive analysis, financials and team structure

Prepare Investment Memorandums and articulate attractive investment opportunities

Report on emerging business and investment trends in the life sciences sector

Work with portfolio companies adding value and helping them scale to commercial success

Requirements

At least three years’ experience in life sciences investing, life sciences technology transfer or business development in the life sciences industry

Passionate about innovation in life sciences and how to bring solutions to market

Ability to evaluate technology opportunities, complete competitive analysis and business modelling

Structured thinker, capable of quickly analysing and summarising key points

Personality

Excellent networker with ability to identify investment opportunities and generate deal flow

High degree of self-motivation, tenacity to succeed

Passionate about networking with entrepreneurs, corporates, life sciences experts etc.

Be a self-starter and a good team player

Maintaining and building on Atlantic Bridge’s reputation in the market

The position is based in Dublin, and reports to an Investment Director.
